What Happens When You Drink 10 Cans of Coke A Day For One Month?
What happens when you drink 10 cans of coke a day for one month straight? Nothing good, that’s for sure. Just ask George Prior, 50, of Los Angeles, California. He just completed a personal mission of doing just that to document the effects on his body.
The short of it, is that all of the extra sugar in your system wrecks your body. Prior gained a total of 26 pounds in just one month due to the experiment and he reported having no energy and constantly feeling full. I bet, drinking all of those cokes. At the end of the month he said, “I feel heavier, I can’t wear my long pants to work anymore. My clothes all fit tightly and I can’t bend over easily.”
If you think that drinking ten cans of coke a day is insane, you’d be surprised to know that it’s only twice the regular level of sugar intake that the Average American takes in daily, anyway.
It’s recommended that humans take in no more than 36 grams of sugar daily, but most most Americans throw caution to the wind when it comes to daily dietary recommendations. More than two thirds of American adults are obese and the epidemic has resulted in legislation, only recently, requiring restaurants to put the calorie counts of their dishes on menus.
