“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot on Wednesday shared a baby picture of her newborn after a secret pregnancy and got flooded with hate over her support of Israel in the comments section.
The 38-year-old Israeli actress posted on Instagram a picture of her in a hospital holding her infant baby girl, her fourth with husband Jaron Varsona. It has since gone viral with more than 3.5 million views.
Next to the post, she wrote, “My sweet girl, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we made it through.”
“You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means ‘my light’ in Hebrew,” she added. “Our hearts are full of gratitude. Welcome to the house of girls. Daddy is pretty cool too.”
Despite the post being about new life and love, some social media trolls decided to make it all about their hatred for Israelis and Israel’s response to the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack that left at least 1,200 people dead.
“Why should we celebrate? She is an active supporter of this terrorist state who killed how many children and newborn babies,” one user posted.
Another wrote, “I’m sure the pregnant Palestinian women in Gaza are having a much harder pregnancy than you did.”
While a third claimed, “Israel killing all of the children of Palestine even babies, even newborns.”
Despite the handful of negative comments, most respondents were excited about Gadot and slammed the disgusting attacks.
They wrote messages like, “She has not sinned nor her ancestors…We need to get rid of terrorists and we will.”

Another user added, “I honestly cannot believe some of the nasty comments in this post! There is enough nastiness and hatred in this world as it is, why can’t people be nice and be happy for others.”
While a third wrote, “Mazal tov!!! Love the name and its message! Our nations (sic) answer in times of hatred is just LIGHT!! Feel good Mama.”
Gadot and Varsano are the parents of three other girls: Alma, 12; Maya, 6; and Daniella, 2, People Magazine noted.
