Picture a peaceful suburb shattered at 3 a.m. Three men burst into a home in Greenville, North Carolina. They tie up the male victim. They beat him mercilessly. Then comes the unthinkable: repeated sodomy and ripping out his fingernails with a sharp weapon. This savage Greenville home invasion left the victim hospitalized and fighting for recovery. DHS calls it a “real-life nightmare.” All three suspects? Mexican nationals here illegally. Outrage boils over – how many more must suffer before illegals are deported?
Doing “Jobs” That Americans Won’t Do
The nightmare struck on February 11, 2026, in Pitt County’s Cherry Oaks neighborhood. Deputies raced to 200 Louis Street after reports of an assault. They found a home invasion gone horribly wrong. The victim endured restraint, beatings, forcible sex acts, and fingernail removal before the attackers fled. Thankfully, he survived and reached ECU Health Medical Center.

US Marshalls Track Them Down
However, arrests followed swiftly. On February 13, authorities nabbed two suspects with U.S. Marshals’ help. Twenty-one-year-old Zaid Mayen-Esteban and 20-year-old Jonathan David Garcia-Larios (homeless, previously deported in 2024) landed in custody. ICE lodged detainers fast. Both entered illegally; Garcia-Larios returned after removal. Therefore, the feds highlight this as preventable evil.
Third Suspect Arrested
Meanwhile, a third suspect joined them. On February 16, detectives arrested 22-year-old John Carlos Calderon from Greenville. All three face the same heavy charges: first-degree burglary, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree forcible sex offense, and assault with a deadly weapon intending serious injury. They sit without bond. ICE holds detainers on the first two; Calderon’s status remains under review.
Trump Administration Condemns Previous Administration
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin blasted the act as “extremely wicked and heinous.” She stressed these men,
“should have never been in this country.”
One had no prior U.S. crimes beyond immigration violations. Yet the system failed again. This Greenville home invasion exposes the raw cost of open borders and the Deep State’s fight against their removal. Innocent Americans pay in blood and trauma.
How Much Is Enough?
The case stays active. More details may surface soon. The victim struggles to recover his life. So here we stand: a tortured man, illegal suspects in chains, and ICE enforcing the law. When will Americans sober up and conclude that they all have to go?
