Senate! We need the Save Act: No Middle Fingers to Future Kid Citizen Voters!

Save Act

Save Act: Locking Out Vote Bandits

Oh, look, the Save Act is here to save our kids’ future from non-citizens crashing the voter party. This bill demands ironclad proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections, because apparently, we need a law to remind everyone only Americans should pick our leaders. With 153 million citizens voting in 2024, and millions of non-citizens—including illegals—lurking around, the Save Act’s a giant “not so fast” to anyone thinking they can sway our laws without a U.S. passport or birth certificate. Democracy’s for citizens, not gatecrashers.

Save Act Passes House – Pass Senate Next?

On April 10, 2025, this Save Act passed in the House with 220 Yay and 208 Nay.

Kids Deserve a Fraud-Free Future

Picture your kids inheriting a democracy where non-citizens call the shots on taxes or schools. Gross, right? The Save Act ensures only citizens vote, slamming the door on illegals who might sneak onto voter rolls. In 2022, 3 million folks registered by mail—super convenient, but a fraudster’s playground without tight checks. Meanwhile, election officials are stuck playing whack-a-mole with spotty data. The Save Act fixes this mess, demanding in-person proof to keep our kids’ elections pure. Sorry, non-citizens, you don’t get to rewrite our future. American Progress

Non-Citizens Can Take a Hike

Some whine the Save Act’s a hassle, but cry me a river. Even one illegal vote is a middle finger to every citizen. Arizona tried proof-of-citizenship in 2005, and over 10,000 got bounced—mostly citizens with messy paperwork, sure, but it snagged potential fraud too. The Save Act doubles down, making sure no non-citizen slips through to mess with our legislatures. Our kids shouldn’t grow up in a country where foreigners, legal or not, dilute their voice. It’s not rocket science: only Americans vote. Deal with it.

No, the Save Act is Not a Citizen Smackdown

Cue the sob stories: “What about women with name changes?” Sunny Hostin, a prominent figure on the TV show The View gives a very bleak view for how this Act may negatively impact citizens.

People who dont have cars, dont have driver’s licences. So its sort of a vestage of post-slavery laws, where black people had to prove their right to vote. And often times they couldn’t vote because they couldn’t pass some crazy test, or they didn’t have the appropriate ID. It also affects women, women that are married. Maybe your passport reflects something that’s different on your birth certificate or on your driver’s licence. So really, the bottom line is voter suppression. Its a brilliant notion that less voter ID laws allows more people to vote. And most democracies do it that way. We’re the only ones that dont do it that way.

Relax, the Save Act lets states accept marriage certificates or other fixes for mismatches. In 2022, just 5.9% registered in-person, so yeah, mail and online are king—until fraudsters exploit them. This bill tightens the screws, ensuring non-citizens don’t hijack our democratic process. It’s not about screwing over citizens; it’s about keeping illegals from picking our Congress. Our kids deserve lawmakers chosen by Americans, not by folks who hopped a border.

Wrapping This Up

The Save Act’s a no-nonsense guard dog for democracy, barking loud to keep non-citizens—especially illegals—away from our voter booths. It demands proof of citizenship, locking out anyone who shouldn’t be meddling in our elections. This protects our kids’ right to a government that reflects American voices, not foreign ones. So, what’s the real cost: a quick trip to show your passport, or letting non-citizens chip away at our democratic soul?
