Christmas Poll Shows America’s Strong Christian Roots

Christmas remains America's most important holiday

Christmas lights up hearts across the nation once more, as a trusted poll reveals overwhelming celebration and deep faith. Over 90% of registered voters join in Christmas traditions, and many focus on the birth of Jesus Christ. However, solid belief in God holds firm. Regardless of church attendance, the poll showed that about 75% of Americans believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Is America a “Christian nation?” America was founded on religious freedom, however most of the founding fathers were Christian, and that tradition is as strong as ever.

Yearly Christmas Survey Tradition

Big Data Poll, run by expert Richard Baris, known as the People’s Pundit, conducts this Christmas poll every year. Therefore, it tracks holiday views over time. In past surveys, results show steady high participation. For instance, families gather, gifts exchange, and religious meaning endures. Meanwhile, the poll reaches thousands of voters for accurate insights.

Voters love Christmas deeply. In fact, more than 9 in 10 take part each year. Moreover, large groups see it as a religious holiday. The overwhelming majority reflect on Jesus as the reason for the season. These habits cross many lines. Therefore, many without church ties keep faith alive at home.

While church attendance fluctuates over time, one thing remains consistent: American’s belief that Jesus is the Son of God

Faith in God Anchors the Nation

Belief remains a cornerstone. Nearly 8 in 10 voters affirm God exists. Among them, most accept Jesus as Savior. This core Christianity fuels the holiday spirit. Personal faith thrives strongly. America holds tight to these values, showing resilience and hope. Big Data Poll’s yearly Christmas survey highlights enduring celebrations and robust belief in God throughout the country. “White Christian Nationalist” is an epithet used by the left to insult their political opponents. However, the majority of Americans are white, patriotic, and Christian, so those on the right probably shouldn’t look at the description as an insult – it seems to be a fairly accurate description of populist conservatives. Traditions persist, and Christian roots run deep. As another holiday passes, one wonders: How can leaders build on this strong faith to unite Americans further?
